Stk midtown opening

I arrived at seven pm and had trouble finding the venue. I found the place because I saw the iconic long line to get in. I met a nice Brit on the line. He hoped we wouldn't more than ten minutes. I laughed knowing the wait could last between 20-30 minutes. It did in fact take thirty minutes to get in. But, once I was in I was delighted to that tables were available. There was a station with an artist etching flasks and cocktail shakers all for $5 proceeds going to city harvest. I set down my stuff and headed to the bar. By the bar were ladies dressed as santa's helpers passing out tanqeray and grey goose cocktails. I indulged in one and it was delicious, it was made with pear grey goose and pear juice. There were also waiters serving appetizers: mini burgers, oysters, stuffed mushrooms and steak tartare.

I really loved the venue. It was modern, gorgeous and luxurious. There is a bar in the back and in the front. The crowd was also upscale. At the end of the night they concluded with cookies and mini ice cream sandwiches. I really love STK and would return any day of the week.
